The Date Query is setup to retrieve active fire data corresponding to the start and end date provided by the user.

The format of the date has to be YYYY-MM-DD.

Note: The active fire data has been archived from 1^st November 2000.Please be aware that any queries prior to this period would not return any results.

After the dates have been input into the boxes, the "Refresh Map" button needs to be clicked to update the map for the changes.

To avoid searching through the large active fire database, we have provided three active fire detection layers (48 hours/7days/complete archive). Please use the layer that meets your needs, bearing in mind that using the complete archive will result in a considerably longer response time.
